Roxbury House

Nestled into the low rolling foothills, this Roxbury home is rooted in the Craftsman style with farmhouse character and Italianate flourishes. Inside is vertical grain Douglas fir trim, plaster walls, and quarter-sawn oak floors, keeping the detailing plain and honest. Outside solid-color stained clear cedar siding and a standing-seam roof give the exterior a simple, durable finish. We avoided manufactured wood materials and focused on clean straightforward joinery and natural textures.
